Bamboo is much stronger than cotton and even than hemp. Softer Bamboo is the softest fabric next to silk you can buy. Silk gis wouldn't pass IBJJF, I already thought of that. They would be too hard to hold on to.
バンブー（竹）は綿や麻よりもよりはるかに強く、シルクに次ぐ柔らかい素材です。シルクのギでは柔らかすぎてIBJJFの規定にパスできませんが、バンブー素材なら大丈夫です。

Bamboo is one of the world’s fastest growing plants, growing up to a meter in a day. Bamboo is a grass, so once cut it can regenerate quickly without the need for replanting. These Lucky Gis are made with the same top quality sewing machines and the whole gi is triple an double stitched. The top and the pants have full reinforced gussets through out. The top is made of 420 Light weight True Platinum Weave fabric. This is the same weave as the last generation of Lucky Gis very smooth and soft on the inside and course on the outside. This gi is very light yet very strong due to the properties of the Bamboo fabric.

The top still has a thick competition style collar, but this time it is made from foam. This a very light and flexible foam.

The Lucky Gi pants weave is a bamboo canvas that is about 10oz in weight. They feature the same triple gusset crotch and low cut fit as the original Lucky Gi pants did. We did make one small change. The pants are now an inch longer. The gi pants are the softest part of the gi. They feel like they are lined in silk. These are the softest gis on the market today.

Lucky Gi is the most knocked off gi on the market. To combat the counterfeiters we have added one small silver thread into the bamboo fabric every 18 inches apart. If you don't see this thread you do not have real True Platinum Weave fabric. The Fleur de Li is an ancient symbol used on my European Coats of Arms for battle. Though different cultures the Fleur de Li has been interpreted in its meaning in varying ways; purity, light, and as a symbol of courage. It is also known as the floral badge of war. This gi is lined in the ancient symbol to bring you luck.

Rude Boy is more of an attitude or a lifestyle. Originally coined in Jamaica during the 1960's, it was a common term for juvenile delinquents and criminals. It has since been used in a lighter context, describing a young, tough, style conscious individual with plenty of attitude. This attitude and lifestyle has spread worldwide and flows well with the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle that we all live. The Rude Boy Lucky Gi was designed on the world famous North Shore of Hawaii by local famed artist from the Da Hui crew, Scott le Roc. Thee colors represent a rise from nothing.
ルードボーイはライフスタイルや心構えのことです。1960年代にジャマイカで発祥し、当時それは不良少年や犯罪者の使う言葉でした。
その後それは心構えとして一般的に使われるようになりました。
この心構えやライフスタイルは世界中に広がり柔術のライフスタイルにも通じました。ルードボーイラッキーギはハワイ・ノースショアのローカル有名アーティスト、ダ・フイのクルー「スコット・ル・ロック」によってデザインされました。
